A SMOKE SAUNA TRIP TO SAUNASAARI 2009
Saunasaari is located in the fabulous sea landscape of Helsinki, between Suomenlinna and Laajasalo at Vasikkasaari. Approximately 20 minutes by water taxi from the marketplace, Kauppatori. Since September 2000, the beginning of the “sauna of the month” project, organized by the culture city foundation and the Finnish Sauna Society, it has been possible for private persons to experience the smoke saunas of saunasaari. The trips have been very popular, especially among women.
